Fiddler's Finest
A Fossegrim is a Scandinavian mythological water spirit who lives under the waterfalls along the fjords. He is such an exceptionally
talented fiddler that folklore says that the sounds of forest, wind and water were heard over his fiddle strings as he played.
In ancient times, people
who desired to become fiddlers would seek him out to try to induce him to teach them the secrets of playing the fiddle. If they were
worthy, he would teach them his secrets, but if they were unworthy, the Fossegrim would play a haunting tune to entrance them and
lure them in under the waterfalls.
